Hear the waves in this Aptos vacation home across the street from the neighborhood beach entrance to the Seacliff and Pot Belly beaches. Walk down a very pictures Beachgate path or, if you have too many beach things, drive 0.2mi and use provided beach pass for the free access and parking.
2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths - sleeps 6. Just bring your bathing suit. Everything else is provided: linens, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and toys. Also included are (over $200 value):
- CA State Park Pass to visit over 20 local beaches and state parks.
- 2 member guest passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which can be used daily. Save time by skipping a long line and using the member entrance!
Our Beach house has gone through a complete remodel in the winter / spring of '22. We were inspired by our stays in cozy Mediterranean vacation rentals.
The house has fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, cable TV, WiFi, DVD player, and lots of books and games for kids and adults. Beautifully landscaped private back and side yards with Weber BBQ and outdoor hot water shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Flexible sleeping arrangements with blackout curtains in the bedrooms: California king bed, queen bed, a pull out European queen sofa bed in the living-room and a twin AeroBed.
The rental comes with a 2 parking spaces in the driveway. There is practically no street parking.
CasaMareAptos is a duplex. The upstairs apartment is never rented; it's our second home and we, a retired couple, use it part time. The house architecture provides total privacy; with guest having an exclusive use of the downstairs, fenced in back/side yards, outdoor shower, BBQ, and 2 car driveway. Only the front yard is shared with the owners.
Seacliff beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. It is wide, 19+ mile long, and in low tide you can walk 1.5 mi to Capitola. Spend quiet weekdays swimming, boogie boarding and surfing with just the dolphins, whales, seals and shorebirds to keep you company.
This is a great location for visiting Monterrey, Carmel, Capitola, Santa Cruz, 17 Mile Drive or just relaxing on the beach.
