2 blocks from Pearl Street in the Historic Whittier neighborhood renown for its lovely tree lined streets, gorgeous homes and great location.
The apartment is newly remodeled for comfort yet still retains the charming architectural details from its roots. Stays cool in the summer and toasty in the winter. 2 window air conditioning units one in each bedroom and fans for cooling.
The space:
Your apartment is in one of Boulder's lovely historical landmark buildings. It is recently remodeled, with refinished hardwood floors and is newly furnished. Comfortable and chic. The apartment has a private entrance on the side of the building just walk under the grapevines (taste a grape as you go they are delicious) on the west side of the house to the side door.
There are 2 private bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed that looks into the garden with a private door to the patio in the backyard. Bedroom 2 is up the spiral staircase and has a twin daybed that converts to a king bed.
You will also find a fully stocked kitchen and a lovely large dining table, comfortable living room with smart TV and French doors leading to the patio in the backyard, a sun porch with table and chairs, 1 bathroom with clawfoot tub for bath or shower and original tin ceiling tiles. There is a stackable laundry unit in the pantry off the kitchen. There is also a sweet little park just behind our building where 18th Street dead ends.
Parking and Backyard
Off street parking is available for one car in the alley behind the building. Your patio is in a fully fenced backyard that is private for the building but others staying here may be in the backyard to access their cars or when coming and going. I live upstairs and need to come down into the backyard to get in and out of my apartment. Other than that, the yard is quiet and private.
Activities & Entertainment
You are an easy 2 block walk to Pearl Street where you have a plethora of hip cafes, incredible dining, chic boutiques, high-end retail as well as bohemian gift shops and cool consignment stores. You can also find great live music and the Pearl Street Mall.
You are near many hiking trails (if you walk up Mapleton towards the foothills 1 mile you can access Mt Sanitas hiking trail and many others), the Boulder Creek and Bike Path (approx 1 mile), Chautauqua Trail and Park (1.8 miles away) just to name a few.
Boulder is full of athletes and active people so you will find any activity you can think of in Boulder. Climbing, hiking, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snow shoeing, cross country sking, biking, tubing, kayaking, tennis, fishing. I'm sure I am forgetting some. If you can think of it, Boulder probably has it!

Your apartment is located in the back of the building and you have access to the backyard. Walk through the yard and out the gate to the alley and your parking space.

This home is a historically significant landmark in Boulder. The original parts were built between 1884 and 1892. It is in the Colonial Revival style and has rounded portico with columns (front porch), bay, dormer and reverse Palladian windows, stone sills and decorative brick work are just some of the unique architectural details.
