This cottage is the perfect getaway for anyone who wants to experience the beautiful North Woods of Wisconsin, with a number of modern amenities including WIFI.. Property is settled at the end of the road on a quiet cul-de-sac this cottage is directly on the snowmobile and ATV trails. This 2 bedroom 1 bath vacation home has 100 ft of water frontage with a boat launch only a short block away. There is also a tiny camper available for an extra nightly fee of $50. Camper has a full sleeper sofa, microwave, fridge, TV. Chute Pond is a 421 acre, fully recreational lake with maximum depth of 19', and has 8.23 miles of shoreline. Abundant wildlife, swans, bald eagles, ducks & geese. Great fishing! Fish right off the dock and catch your very own Fish Fry! Very scenic waterway with islands & rock formations. In the summer time the tubing, boating, swimming, fishing, and cliff jumping cannot be beat! In the winter the ice fishing and hunting are awesome and the snowmobile trails are next to none with some of the states BEST! Bring your ATV'S, the roads are all open for ATV use with over 200mi of trails! The bars and restaurants are all accessible via snowmobile, boat or ATV. In the winter, you can snowmobile right out across the frozen pond!
The property has indoor and outdoor games, DVD players, WIFI, cleaning supplies, kitchen stocked with all the utensils you need, just add food! Multiple grills for use, an outdoor patio set, firepit, a stand up paddle board, a small fishing boat and a couple of kayaks, not to mention the Great Views!
The faucet water is bottled water quality coming right from the Nicolet National Forest! Plenty places to eat, explore and much to do. Or if the outdoor sports and wildlife scene isn't up your alley, enjoy the nearby golf courses and casinos; The Red Maple Country Club and Black Bear Trail Golf Club are both 18 hole courses about 13 miles from this property, where you can also find fish fry, Saturday buffets and Sunday brunch! The Potawatomi Carter Casino is 35 mins away, The Menominee Casino Resort is 45 mins away and the North Star Mohican Casino is about 55 mins away! Or take the scenic drive into town, where you will find groceries, fireworks, antiques, handcrafted wood furniture and Sweet Memories Candy Shoppe, where there are treats of every kind! There are literally activities for everyone and anyone no matter what your age or interests!! Please come experience the North woods of WI and make your own memories!
We started renting our pontoon boat out per day originally but we found out that people were using it throughout their stay and just not telling us. So we figured we would just start charging per stay and you can use it as much as you want. The charge is on average $100/day. This charge is separate from VRBO and a separate contract will need to be signed. If that’s not something you’d want to do there may be some boat rental places in the area that will rent by the day.
