Summary: We stayed at Kasa Magnificent Mile for four nights and had an overall good experience. The biggest highlight is the location. It's within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation, making it an excellent base for exploring Chicago. The apartment layout is spacious and much more comfortable than a standard hotel room. Having a full kitchen with all the appliances, plus an in-unit washer and dryer, was a huge convenience for a longer stay. There are a few areas that need improvement. The bathroom feels dated, and there was black mold/staining around the bathtub caulking, which made it seem less clean than the rest of the apartment. The toilet also did not flush well and often required multiple flushes. The biggest downside was the noise. The apartment was surprisingly noisy, even late at night. You can hear frequent traffic, sirens, and other city noise. I understand this is downtown Chicago, but light sleepers should definitely bring earplugs or a white noise machine. Overall, I would still recommend Kasa because the excellent location, apartment-style layout, and amenities outweigh the negatives. If the bathroom were updated and the toilet issue fixed, it would be an even better place to stay.
