Historic house close to Downtown Davenport. Less than a mile from great restaurants, bars in downtown Davenport, Palmer College, St. Ambrose University, Augustana College, Vandaveer park and just over a mile away from the East Village of Davenport. 15 minute drive from downtown LeClaire, Iowa. Bring your family or friends together in comfort with all the amenities of home.
The Space:
The whole house is for your enjoyment. On the ground level you'll find a very spacious layout with 12ft. ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, living room w/television, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and one bedroom with attached bathroom (Queen bed). Enjoy food, friends, drinks and family around the all encompassing living room + dining room.
Once you make your way upstairs you'll find three bright and airy bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens). The bedroom with the king does have an attached bathroom. One of the bedrooms with a queen also has an attached bathroom.
If you decide to head upstairs to the finished attic you'll find more sleeping space, an office area with stand up desk and a 'hangout area'. This setup allows for both time to connect and time to quietly recharge. Be careful going up the stairs to the attic. Ceilings get a little low at the entryway to the attic.
The Neighborhood:
Our home is located in a very convenient area. We are close to downtown davenport, the East Village of Davenport and a quick drive to LeClaire's downtown.
