By 1892, the property was associated with Mary Neal, daughter of Major Throckmorton and the last of eleven children, marking the site as part of a much earlier chapter in Millersburg’s history.
While records from that period are sparse, they confirm that a residence already stood on the property when it passed from Mary Neal into new hands. From that moment forward, the house entered a continuous line of care, adaptation, and lived experience that would shape its character over generations.
