Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel is beautiful and clean, but I was disappointed in the staff.

Negative: The fire alarm went off at midnight, we evacuated, but there was no staff anywhere. No one made sure we were ok or was even outside the building. We could see that the alarm was turned off so we went to the lobby, everyone there was going about their business. The staff wasn’t looking for us or even going about any kind of protocols for evacuation. We had to ask the desk clerk if we could return to our rooms and all they said was yes. No explanation, no concern for our safety.
