Our almost new log home (finished in 2012) is a paradise for those who like comfort, convenience, and unbeatable views of the mountain range.
This fabulous family getaway is situated at the entry to Breckenridge. Within three minutes (1.3 miles) of driving you can find yourselves in the historical downtown with fabulous shopping, restaurants, visitor center, and river walk. It takes the same amount of time to reach the base of gondola which will transport you to one of America's top ski slopes under a sunny, azure Colorado sky and the recreation center with its pools, sauna, hot tub, tennis, squash, climbing wall, and all possible exercise equipment is yet another 5 minutes away from our home. The ice ring and Nordic center take about ten minutes to get to. If you need a ride the free shuttle bus stops 0.8 mile down the hill.
If you come in the summer, hiking, kayaking, fishing, golfing, and many other activities await in a close distance.
When you return from the endless activities, or if you simply stay in and relax, you can unwind by watching our cable/streaming TV, browsing the internet, playing provided board games, enjoying the unbeatable views from the covered “perch”, soaking in the hot tub or sweating in the dry Finnish sauna.
There are numerous dining opportunities in Breckenridge as well as in nearby resorts and towns but if you choose to be your own chef, our modern kitchen will not disappoint you. All appliances and kitchen equipment are there to support your culinary creativity.
We love to have kids as our guests but please consider that the home is not child proof and there are some open staircases since the main living is on the second floor.
In the snow season winter tires are MUST for traveling in the mountains and for inexperienced mountain drivers a 4x4 car is advisable.
