Home features a large spacious craftsman eat-in kitchen reliably equipped with view of beautiful garden. Garden has three sitting area and large fire pit. Classic dining and living room w/ fireplace -1000 Square foot master bedroom/bath w/whirlpool tub, walk out south facing sun deck, 2nd laundry, air conditioning. Fully finished lower level is a second 2nd living space with bathroom/ laundry / sauna room.
The home is in an established historic residential neighborhood with long term neighbors all around. We are always making updates, recently we aded central air, a custom built 15x 8 sauna room with with an 6x8 dry sauna, and a newly renovated basement apartment. There are wood floors throughout and refinishing these is our next big project.
More details .....The main living areas includes the living room with fireplace, built in leaded glass bookcases and liquor cabinet. The dining room has a large expandable mission oak table for big dinners and all dish ware, glassware and linens available for your use stored in the large built in china hutch. All hardware and the simple brass chandlers are original. All the original custom milled oak trim and doors give the house a timeless feel.
The kitchen has been completely restored with floor to ceiling cabinets custom built to match all the original built ins. There are soap stone countertops with a large farm sink, sub zero fridge, Bosch dishwasher, a Dacor gas stove with downdraft extractor vent. The eat in kitchen nook sits under a six foot H-Window opening to the south facing backyard and garden. The house has spices and other basic staples.
Master Bedroom - 1000 square foot master bedroom featuring two large dormers - 12x12 bathroom, additional walk-in closet and laundry - and 12 x12 south facing deck. Sun and breeze come through from all directions with ten large casement windows and patio doors to sundeck and skylights -feels like a tree house on a perfect day. In the winter months low sunlight pours through the skylights and filters through to warm the space.
